I have a Samsung 840 Pro 128gb SSD and I got a Samsung 840 Evo 120gb for Christmas. I want to put the two SSDs in raid 0. I'm aware that I'll only get 240gb total since it's only double the smaller drive, but will I also lose performance since the 840 Pro is faster/nicer than the 840 Evo? Any other tips/advice you would give for Raid 0 with SSDs?

Current System:
ASRock Extreme4 970
AMD FX-8350
8gb Corsair Vengence 1600Mhz
EVGA GTX 780
CoolerMaster 750W PSU
Samsung 840 Pro 128gb
Western Digital 1 TB 7200rpm

Hmm I guess I thought having the two SSD's in raid 0 and having them listed as one single drive would be more convenient? But I guess I wouldn't need to have them in raid 0; I have no experience with raid. I would mainly use the new SSD for video game storage. I could just transfer the games on my current ssd to the new one and just have extra space on both. Now you got me thinking... =)

I wouldn't RAID the drives. The high write performance of the Pro is gone when creating a RAID. Using the Second SSD as scratch drive, for pagefile and games makes more sense to me.
Also there is not danger that your RAID go corrupt and kill all your data.
Pro as 1st SSD for OS and APPs and Evo as 2nd SSD for pagefile, scratch data and games.
