I'm using HP Pro Book 4540s. While using it the message of low power appears as battery was at approx 7%. I shut it down. Did not charge it for one night and one day. Now when I connect power source (AC Adapter) with it. The power source indicator on laptop continuously blinks. Notebook does not boot up.

Any help/guidance pl.

I have a similar issue with a HP ProBook 455 G1. What I've discovered so far is that this may have something to do with the keyboard or with how Windows is installed. It's almost as if the system is in a low power state (hibernation) and is unable to wake up. So far, I'm still troubleshooting. Here's what I found so far:
1. Shut down Windows 10
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the power cable.
4. Disconnect the keyboard
5. Reconnect the power cable - leave the battery detached
6. Connect the keyboard flex cable
7. Power on the laptop.

No idea why this works, but it's obviously not a permanent solution. I'm about to reinstall Windows 10. One thing I noticed when I looked at Disk Management is that there is no EFI partition right at the beginning of the HDD and the system is not using Secure Boot right now.

It may be a little late, but what I found are blown mos-fets named PU-4001 and PU-4002. They are located right next to power jack connector, but you have to disassemble whole laptop to get them.
