I have a i5 3.4GHz processor
A XFX Radeon R9 270x 2GB GDDR5
A Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H LGA1150 ATX Motherboard
And 8GB RAM

I want to get an HDD because it's cheaper, so will my HDD run Battlefield 4 well or do I need to get an SSD?

How much do you want to spend all up?

You DON'T need an SSD to play well, I don't know for certain and could be wrong but my guess is absolutely no effect on gameplay and if there is any it is not even noticeable except in some spreadsheet somewhere, I have mates who play, and play well, without issue on HDD's.

Myself and all the guys I play with who have our BF4 (or any BF) on SSD are generally only after one thing which comes when the round ends and changes to the next map, the guys with the SSD's are in choosing vehicles and rushing flags while our guys with HDD's enjoy the loading map screen for a bit longer.
