So I recently purchased a new r9 270:

I went to plugged it in to my motherboard, which came with my computer (HP Phoenix h9 1130) the motherboard is: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03117539&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en
When I booted there was no display, not even of my bios, even though the computer seemed to be running normally. To make sure the card was not bad I plugged it in to a different computer, and it booted normally, and there was a display.
Is the card incompatible with my motherboard, or is there something else I can do to fix this problem?
