I recently reformatted my PC. Can I have downloads of Microsoft .NET Framework from version 1 (One) to 4 (Four)? There are many kinds which I am confused on what to download.

So you can understand, I want to download Microsoft .NET Framework so I can install some Game Engine and some video editing software.

Operating System: Windows XP SP1 Professional 32-bit

I've found the latest version is all you need because it's incremental and therefore includes the earlier ones but I don't do any gaming on my systems. Other opinions will say you need version 2.0 as well. Most agree that 3.0 and 3.5 are incorporated into 4.0.
