So my mom gave me a budget for a list of computer parts. This is what I came up with. What are your opinions and any components you think could be changed to better the system at around the same price?

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5Ghz 6 Cores
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Blue 8GB PC3-12800
Graphics Card: ASUS Radeon 2GB GDDR5
Power Supply: Corsair Builder Series CX 500W
Hard Drive: SeaGate Barracuda 500GB
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB

The case is nothing to worry about seeing as I already have one. The OS as well.

A few games that I'm going to be wanting to play are: Massively Modded Minecraft, BF3, BF4, Garry's Mod and Dota 2. Any other games that come out I'm going to look forward to play as well. As for the graphic settings I would have no problem playing on high resolution instead of ultra so no worries.

Thanks for any support and feedback.

What is your budget? Do you need an OS to be included in the budget?

The budget is of about 600 or 700 dollars. No the OS does not need to be included.

Up'd the hard drive, put in a R9 280x for the 3 gb of v ram BF 4 recommends. Also put in a better quality PSU, if you wish to cut corners on this build drop down to a 500 gb HDD and use a R9 270x

Here I made those 2 changes to cut corners on my first build. But I would recommend using the 280x, you will be happy you paid the extra for it

Probably going to cut down to the 270x and the 500GB for the sake of not needing it. Thanks a lot for your help and recommendations!
