I had one PSU (corsair 650W) die on me last month after over a year running fine. I replaced it with an 850W Antec but it died on me after a week or so. I have been running with the ASUS overclocking tool which i know can do something with the voltages but i never pushed it beyond the recommended settings. Can this kill PSU's or where should i start as far as identifying the root cause?
Can a component kill a PSU or do they only fail on their own?
