I have a Gateway with window 7 my wireless icon no longer appears and when i went to my Device Manager to look at my network adapters there's a lot of little triangles that's yellow. I'm not good at fixing computers and don't even have an ideal at where to start. I can't even see my wireless connection all i see is a little computer that has a little cord on it with a red x on it please help!!

Solution
Go to Gateway and find the LAN ( Local area network ) or NIC ( Network Interface Card ) driver for your laptop. Try installing it and see if that helps. Perhaps yours was somehow corrupted! Download the file to your desktop and use the device manager to install it. Then choose Update Driver software and then Browse my Computer and point to it!

Try connecting a cat 5 wire from your router to see if things are OK hard wired. If you did nothing that could have caused the problem, try using "system restore" and go back to a date a week before you remember having the problem.

I was thinking about doing system restore but i wasn't sure if that was a good ideal.

Are you sure the router is working properly? Are there other PC's or internet devices using it that are working fine?
There is no problem with using system restore. You will not lose any files that have used, modified or downloaded, except windows updates. Part of the point of system restore is to undo any system changes that may have caused your problems. So if system restore works, simply go to windows update and manually download and install all the updates. It is still fairly automated, except you can choose to download a few at a time if there are many. I would give it a go. It saved my butt more than once!
Oh Yeah, You can always undo a system restore procedure!
