I have this so - called laptop , it says it have AMD Radeon6470M , but instead of AMD detected It shows INTEL HD 3000
and if i enable the AMD it will give me bsod and there is a line saying atikmdag.sys or atikmpag.sys
any fix so i can enjoy more power with the AMD instead of the INTEL ? or its just the same and im being an idiot?

Solution
You may want to full re-install Windows, then install the drivers directly from Dell. Sounds like there are issues with how the drivers were installed or maybe just got corrupted.

It may be a RAM issue also. If you have several RAM sticks, try running with only one at a time, see if that is better.

well im gonna fix my laptop at dell nearby my location , hopefully it would work back , but , ill wait , i can hold with the HD3000, ati has only slight performance boost anyway
* edit , well reinstalling windows works , BUT during system scanning ( scoring ) the "thing" seems corrupted during dx-10 test and result system shutdown , well seems like my ATI Burned out and not working properly .
