I've been trying to get my computer to work but I get no post or any signal from the computer and after looking at my chipset I can see my BIOS is P1.10 and my FX6300 needs a P1.40. All my computer components turn on but no output is detected. Does a outdated BIOS cause the system speaker to not work? And if the problem is I need to update the BIOS how can I do that when the computer doesn't turn on?
My specs are as follows:
FX6300
ASRock Extreme 3 R2.0 P1.10
1600MHz 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance 9-9-9-24
500GB S-ATA 3 Seagate Barracuda
CiT Vantage Gamers Case
XFX 550W PSU
I'd really appreciate a answer ASAP before I take it down to the Computer shop.
