Hi
I recently bought a coolermaster seidon 120m. After i installed i, it would not boot. It turned on, without any any picture on the monitor, and then it turned of after 10-12 seconds, and turned on again after 5 seconds or so. It keept rebooting, again and again.

I emailed the place where i bought my PC parts. (I builded it myself)
They said it were the RAM, so i send them back and i got some new ones.
I placed the RAM in slot 1 and 3, like the old ones did too. I want dual-channel ti increase speed.
But i would still not boot. Turned off again after 10-12 seconds.

I emailed them again, and they said i should try placing them i slot 1 and 2 (Without dualchannel)..
And IT BOOTED! but now i dont have Dualchannel, and i can feel the difference in games.. It annoys me!
They said i could the Motherboard back and maybe get a new one if they cant repair it.

But the question is: Can i fix this by my own? Is it some sort of software thing or something in the BIOS???
I dont want to send my motherboard back, and disassembling my pc.. :(

Hi
Test you both RAM stick on all 4 slots one by one
If you can find single RAM slot that is not working then the Mobo is for RMA
This is HW problem only good fix is to RMA the mobo !
If it`s OOW - out of warranty then NEW mobo is the best fix !

BTW: did you spell any liquid on the slots while installation ?

I have now tested the Mobo with 1 stick of RAM, one by one.
Slot 3 and 4 wont work. Just rebooting after 10 seconds, and no picture on the monitor..
But cant i fix this by myself somehow?
EDIT: I didnt spill anything..

You have faulty second channel - f.e. the Voltage regulators ( micro integrated element ) solgered on the motherboard is faulty
If you have the Motherboard Engenier Schems and extra Soldering Equipment and Skills all you need is the same micro integrated element to replace the faulty one .....
IF you have active warranty RMA ASP .....
If you DON`T - im` not advise you to use this board any way ......
When you take out the mobo - make eye inspection of the RAM slots aria ..... just in case you spot any visual problem ..... to skip Warranty Void ......
