Is this Power supply good for GTX 770

For a system using a single GeForce GTX 770 graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 600 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 42 Amps or greater and that has at least one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors. NVIDIA's +12V continuous current requirement is exagerated by about 5 Amps so 37 Amps should be enough.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) rated at 45°C - 50°C ambient temperature, is the most critical...

that link is not to a specific psu...we would need a little more info on your system to recommend a psu...also if you plan to OC or not. however the brands i recommend for PSU's are Antec, Corsair, Seasonic and XFX.

Okay, I have a Gigabyte B75M motherboard, 2x4GB Ram Kingston HyperX, 1 TB HDD and finally a 3470 and hopefully soon a SSD. that's it.


Also, it's a Antec 550 watt PSU, the link works fine for me.
I don't want to OC.
