So lately with the steam sale ive been buying a few games. I bought payday 2 yesterday but after a little while of gaming in noticed a sound that wasnt coming from the game, i immediatly thought it was coming from my custom pc but turns out it was just coming from my monitor. Weird right? If i minimize the game, the monitor is completely silent, even if i pause the game the monitor is a lot less loud. even when i spin my character in payday 2 the sound changes, if i stop spinning my character the sound doesnt change but its still loud! Help Please

To be absolutely certain it IS coming from your monitor (sound can bounce around strangely) shut off your monitor.

If it is your monitor there's probably nothing you can do though. There aren't many options to work with. You can try a different video input if possible, or adjust the brightness etc but I'd be surprised if that helped.

I can think of no logical reason that "the sound changes" by spinning a character as the monitor just plays new images and that's independent of any processing your computer does to generate them. Big changes like being much darker can matter.

*The ONLY think I can even think of is related to the backlight and that's a Dynamic Contrast setting which might be disabled in the monitor settings.
