For home use (not an office computer joined to a networking domain), get choice #1 - the full version. The OEM version listed in #2 will only authenticate on a single computer, so once activated on your Mac - it won't work on the new build....The Full version will work for both.

PRO versions include networking components that are needed in a business environment, where you will be joining a network (Windows based).

The OEM licensing changed significantly for Windows 8. OEM is not tied to the first hardware anymore.
Mainly, it is a case of who you can call for support.
Full = Microsoft. OEM = whoever installed it. In this case, you.

USAFRet - thank you for the heads up....I am one that will stay with Windows 7 for quite a while longer - not that Windows 8 is better or worse, I just like Windows 7. In the past, I have avoided OEM software because it is tied to a single installation.

BTW - what "support" does Microsoft actually provide? LOL. I may go all OEM for V8.X

For Win7 and earlier, yes, it was tied to that first motherboard. 8 is different.
As for 'support'? It is unlikely you'd ever have to call them outside of an activation issue. Which the phone robot would handle in any case.

Could you please tell me if I go with the full ver (non oem or pro) just to avoid any kind of hassle in feature when I will install it again on the new machine (after remove it from the old one) is that full ver. can be ok with online gaming?? because I heard that pro ver. is mainly for networking! so is that has anything to do with online gaming ???

Your main consideration is Pro vs Standard. Not OEM vs Retail.

With the OEM, you can install multiple times. Only one at a time.
With Retail (Full) you can install multiple times, only one at a ime.

Either will work.

PRO gives you a set of tools like joining a domain (this is important in an office environment where you are connecting to Microsoft Servers), for home use, you will never join a domain unless you have full versions of Windows Servers. The only possible tool that 99.9% of home users would ever utilize is the remote desktop connection (incoming) - and 3rd party tools like teamviewer (free) allow you to do this.

The 8.0/8.1 non-pro edition are perfectly fine for anything you would do at home (surfing, playing games, etc.).
