I am getting insanely high temps on a new laptop. HP Envy z-j100 to be exact. According to HWMonitor and HWINFO64, my apu is sitting @80C+ even on idle. I've also tried Core Temps, but it shows temps at 0c under load...so yeah.

It's worth mentioning that HWINFO has 2 different temps, and I am confused which one is correct.

Should I be worried? Or is it something else?

Any and all help/info is appreciated. Thanks.

I remember AMD temps having inaccurate readings with HWinfo sometimes, that might be the case here, also HWinfo gives the Tcase can Tjunction readings. Do you notice your laptop get hot or not? If that temp is accurate you should be able to feel the heat from your case (at least the bottom part and the fan should be blowing out rather hot air) if it feels very cool to the touch its probably a sensor reading error and the temp is more in the 32C range then 82C range.
