Custom build:
geforce 660 twin frozer III
AMD FX 8350 4.0ghz
three1 tb hard drives
asus m5a99x evo
8gb of ram

When i play BF4, i get decent frames, average is 47-65frames. but dose randomly drop to 40 somtimes (dont know why) but thats not my question.

most of my settings are high except a few are ultra, playing at 1920x1080p.

When i look at gpu usage im at 99% most of the time, while my cpu is around 60-80, dose that mean my cpu is processing faster than my gpu and making my gpu bottleneck?

hense why im losing frames?

correct my friend your gpu is holding back your processor or another way to look at it is you can safely know upgrading to something more powerful wont hold you back.

BF4 have this problem with FPS drop over GTX-660 - look here in TH

but i think you hit GPU bottleneck than CPU one .....

An AMD FX8350 should not bottleneck a GTX660 Twin Frozr III. The frame rate drops are probably due to the increased destruction or action in your surroundings while you play the game- this has little to do with bottlenecking. Do not worry, bottlenecking is not the issue in your case. Also, why not consider OCing? Hope this helped! Cheers!

Agreed, time to consider something new and shinny. For the time being though, you may try lowering a few settings to get better/consistent frame rates.

OCing is definitely an option here if you do not want to throw coin out the window. Take your time with it and test it every increment with a benchmark.

Battlefield 4 is a verry demanding game.In games the GPU is used the most, its normal your gpu usage to be at 99%. You need a more powerfull GPU.
