Hey guys, I know SLI can be pretty picky, but I was wondering if these two cards would work together. They seem to be really close, but not exactly the same.

EVGA GTX 470 4GB FTW Edition -Here

EVGA GTX 470 4GB SuperClocked - Here

I have the second one, and I am looking for the same one, but since it is discontinued, its pretty hard to find one at a decent price.

Same cores, same amount of memory....The FTW edition is slightly higher clocked, so will it just downclock to match my current card? Any other potential problems?

Thanks

You are correct, it will just downclock to the lower of the two. As long as they are same gen and same VRAM (I am fairly sure you can SLI different VRAM but it will only have access to the minimum) you are good to go. You could get pretty much any 4gb 670.
