cant boot with the gpu

gigabyte motherboard can't enter into BIOS setup withn XFX R7850
I had a gigabyte mobo with XFX R7850 core edition, my problem is when i connect to the graphics card's DVI icant enter into bios setup, monitor shows no signal, but when i connect to on board VGA everything works fine. Please give me a solution

connect it back to the onboard vga, go to bios, what the options for video/graphic priority?

Uhm BASIC 101: READ THE MANUALS. The Mobo is shipped with onboard GPU, you need to enter BIOS and set the VIDEO to use the PCIex not the Onboard (integrated) GPU as the 'default' display.

I think you need a BIOS update of MB. And did you connect the 6 pin connector from PSU to GPU ?
