Thank you for the inputs appreciate that.
Awesome help from you guys !!

As I understood , since I am using one monitor and the 2 GPU's, I have 2 HDMI ports , I need a SLI bridge to bring the output to one monitor thorough any one of my GPU.

If I am using 2 monitors can I run the 2 GPU's putting in 2 PCIe 3.0 16x slots without SLI Bridge.I will put the outtput to two monitors from 2 GPUS --- ( Sounds weird,But I want to understand conceptually )

Few more Questions to clarify

Q4. One manufacturer has the GTX 760 configured at core clock 1006MHz and other has it configured at 1085 MHz.
Which is best ? Will more core clock yields more performance at-least by 7% or so ?

Q5. Also one manufacturer has the GTX 760 with 3 fans and another with 2 fans.Which is better to pick in terms of game performance ?.
Little noise is ok , but more is not tolerable ?

Q6. NVIDIA GTX 760 4GB 256-BIT is for around 300$ and NVIDIA GTX 760 2GB 256-BIT is for 230$.
IS it good to go for 4GB for 300$ , because if I buy two 2GB cards , I would be spending 460$.
Technically which one give more performance and why ? the total output is 4GB in both the cases right ? why spending extra money.4GB is good bet right ?
Q7. Which is better say GTX 760 4GB 512-BIT and GTX 770 4GB 256-BIT ? (Trying to understand the bits )

When running in SLI the bridge is a must.

You will be able to run multiple monitors off the first card, don't worry.

You will unlikely see a 7% or more increase in performance from the higher clocked card.

The fans on the graphics card do not affect performance. It only concerns with cooling the GPU. More fans does not necessarily mean it cools better. And yes again the amount of noise produced will depends on the quality of the fan.

When you SLI two cards, the total effective vram you get is limited to that of the card with the lower amount. They do not stack.
2gb + 2gb = 2gb. 4gb + 4gb = 4gb. 2gb + 4gb = 2gb.

I think $70 is too much to pay just for more vram. You won't be losing much by getting the 2gb cards.

The GPU of the card is what's most important. A GTX 770 with 2gb of vram will beat a GTX 760 with 1000000000gb of vram.

1. You can connect both monitors to a single GPU to output display.

2. You can connect each monitor to each GPU for display output, both can be done.

3.(Q4) I don't know if the performance will go up to 7% more or not, but higher core clock card is better.

4.(Q5) I think there will be no performance difference with one extra fan but the cooling will be.

5.(Q6) 2Gb and 4GB are VRAM's of a card. If you use more than two monitor setup, then 4GB VRAM version will be helpful, otherwise 2GB VRAM version will be enough for most of us with a dual monitor setup. And NO VRAM wont multiply, if you get 2 cards of 2GB VRAM, then you will get 2GB VRAM not 4GB.
And if you get 1 card for 2GB and other one for 4GB the VRAM will clock down to 2GB, so you will get 2GB, not 6GB or 8GB.

6.(Q7) 512 bit and 256 bit are the memory bus/width. The higher the core clock the better the card will be.

Hi Thank you for your inputs.

Can you please explain more on thie 5.(Q6) regarding VRAM ?

If I get 2 cards of 2GB then you said the VRAM will be 2 GB
If I run the 2 cards of 2 GB in SLI then I Will be getting 2GB VRAM right ?
Then if that's the case it is pointless to invest on 2 2GB cards right ? (ex: 2gb 760 gtx is 240$ , 2 of them = 480$)
It would be better to pay extra 50 or 80$ and get a single 4GB card so the VRAM will be 4GB. ( we can get a 4gb 760 for 320$)

Also can I run 2 2GB GTX 760 cards without SLI ? In which way will I get more benfit or performance ?
With SLI or without ? why .... ;-)

Also if I buy a 512 BIT GTX 770 4GB what could be the possible bottle neck ? I read the bus width should support ?Can you tell me which exact bus width is it going to be ? Will I be able to use the full potential of GTX 770 4GB 512 BIT ?

A single card with 4gb vram isn't going to beat two cards with 2gb vram.

Running two cards in SLI will improve performance. Running them separately is as good as having only one card, because then only one of them will be used to work for the games.

Whether there will be a bottleneck has nothing to do with the vram bus width. The only bad bottleneck is when the CPU is too weak to produce enough draw calls to make full use of the graphics card. Imagine a super efficient worker able to make 100 bread an hour, but he only gets enough ingredients to make 70 bread an hour. That's called a bottleneck.

So if we know what CPU you have maybe we can judge if it will be a bottleneck or not.

Hi Lonewolf7,
Thank you for the followup.

My Budget is around 1000$.
I already own this -
1.intel 530- 240GB SSD (Primary),
2.Segate 4TB (3.5 inch Secondary),
3.Intel i7 QUAD CORE 4770K Processor.

And I need to buy the rest of the parts in 1000$ Budget ( like MOBO , GPU, CASE , FANS,RAM,PSU etc)

Also for MOBO if I have money I would have picked the ASUS RAMPAGE 4 BLACK EDITION but I am more leaning towards >> MSI GD65

Rest of the parts I have in mind.I am newbie , so read some stuff and came up with this ;(
4.MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming LGA 1150 Intel Z87 --150$
5.GPU - MSI Gaming N760 TF 2GD5. --230$
6.Cooler - Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler --90$
7.Case - NZXT Phantom PHAN-001WT White Steel / Plastic Enthusiast ATX Full Tower Computer Case or Phantom 820 --200$
8.RAM - 8GB -G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory --80$
9.PSU - CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS --150$

Monitor is my TV :(  (will buy some 23 inch for 130$ later)

Looks like my budget is very tight here....any suggestions are greatly appreciated.....

You won't see any bottleneck with an i7-4770K.

Those parts add up to $900. They look fine to me. The MSI Gaming board is good. No need to spend too much on the board, it won't give you any improvement in performance. With the extra $100 you could get a GTX 770 which is much better than the 760.

That's nice but I think he would prefer 1866MHz ram for $80. No need for an even more expensive board really. The MSI Gaming can already do Crossfire/SLI.

Guys thank you for the help and very nice inputs...

Below are few more questions ...

Q1. Regarding the RAM , I just picked it randomly.I haven't did any research ;-).
The MOBO has this specks for RAM "DDR3 3000(OC)/2800(OC)/2600(OC)/2200(OC)/2133(OC)/1866(OC)/1600"
Can you guys suggest best RAM in terms of value for money and performance.

Q2.
Also I am more willing to go for Liquid cooling to get the extra benefit. Will it be a "Wild Goose Chase" since I am a Newbie ,can I install this or is it complicated.
Please suggest some good liquid cooling kits.

Q3.
Regarding the GPU please see below chart, the Video Card Value is not that great for GTX 770
I was deciding between 760 and R9 290X.

More leaning to go for NVIDIA

Q4.
Also please suggest on this , what is the advantage
if I go for two 2GB GTX 760 Cards in SLI OVER one 4GB GTX 760.
Are they both equal in performance.
(Note: When running 2 GPU's in SLI one runs in PCIe 3.0 16x and another runs in PCIe 3.0 8x , so do you still think running two GTX 256BIT 760 cards at 16x,8x will yield more performance than running one 4GB GTX 256BIT at 16x PCIe 3.0)
Q5.
And is it better to go for one GTX 4GB 256BIT 760 insted of the GTX 2GB 256BIT 760 by spending that extra 70$ ?
