I was wondering if it is worth getting a second 650 or sticking with a single GPU. I am not 100% sure that this system can support SLI as it is though. I over clock the CPU to about 4.3GHz. The max wattage seems to be at about 550 but the regular operating wattage looks to be around 480. with the SLI setup. I would imagine that the GPUs would not peak very much because my display caps at 60 fps. I would love your input.

Yes

Double check this GPU`s are "BOOST" - the Crossfire Interface is enabled only on GTX 650 Ti Boost and is NOT in GTX 650 Ti or GTX 650 .....

Also if you have budged go for GTX 660-670 or ATI 270 - 280
Also you can reduce this 4 x 8 GB to 2x8 GB ...... i trully doubt you will ever need more than 16GB

To calculate Peak consumption of your system add the TDP of the components..

For the 650Ti SLI:

AMD FX 8350~ 125W
Motherboard ~ 80W
2* 650TI ~ 220W(110*2)
......................................................
TOTAL ~ 450W

So I think the SLI set up should work fine with your PSU and your CPU is pretty good to bottleneck the 650TI SLI. So go for it..

Yeah its boost. I built it as a video editing pc gaming was secondary. What I am confused about is that on asrocks website they have a list of supported cards for SLI on the MoBo. I suppose that SLI is SLI and the information is just old.

Thanks. I already have one 650 ti boost. I need to stick with Nvidia due to some of the 3d software I work with. At this point I am looking at the price difference in getting a single card that would do what 2 650 ti boost would.
