ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series

I'm assuming the problems I'm having are graphical in nature, when I play video games and sometimes other things my computer freezes and audio skips for about a miniute and then it comes back. CPU durring this goes from about 30% to about 3%. the game, utorrent, and spotify all stop responding. its not a connection issue or anything like that. Everything is running cool at max they go to 40 degrees Celcius. The cards about 2 years old and it started having problems recently, no corrilation between time on and amount of crashes, I updated the drivers and such and downgraded still had the problem. The only thing I have noticed is that the crashes come in bursts as in sometimes I can go a few hours with no issues and then be down more then I'm up or can go the oppisite.

  1. There is nothing to blame your GPU for it. It's the PSU you are using and I reckon it must be a cheap one and a non-branded one..
