I recently finished my build of a pc and everything is up and running...except for the internet. I have my Ethernet cord connected to my DDW 3611 modem, but it's not connected to my home network. I've tried troubleshooting the problem and it told me that I needed to update my drivers. After reading that I went to http://www.ubeeinteractive.com/support/consumers/faq/need-driver and download the package and moved it to my desktop. I installed it but realized that my modem was not supported on their list of drivers. To sum it up, I can't connect to the internet on my pc and I'm not sure if it's because of the lack of drivers or another underlying problem.

In device manager under network adapters is there anything listed, also is there anything called unknown device? Also when you plug in the network cable are there any lights lighting up where the ethernet port is?

Currently there is no tab labeled network adapters and yes, when I plug the cord into the Ethernet slot it flashes orange a few times
