Greetings, i am looking to upgrade my GPU for video-image editing, so the last days i m spending a lot of time searching the web for some benchmarks about it, but it seems that there are so many factors and even the benchmarks might be outdated since driver updates are playing some great role on that.

From benchmarks i see that 660 has better performance, but some people say that newer ati drivers upgrade the performance of 7870. So what do you suggest?

programs i use are:
Adobe Lightroom 5.3
Adobe photoshop CC
Adobe After Effects CC
Sony Vegas Pro 12
Handbrake
Gopro Studio

my setup is:
Intel i5 2500
12 gigs of ram at 1666mhz 9-9-9
and some SSDs
having some 600watt PSU.

Well my computer can handle photoshop pretty good at the moment with my Nvidia 6600gt which is a very old mid range gpu, so what concerns me the most is video editing.Video preview with effects on (noise reduction for example) as well as rendering 1080p is what i am after.

Well, i got advice from a friend of mine, as well as took into consideration some benchmarks, and even though i'am an NVidia funboy, i found that ATI 7870 is the best choice for me even if it comes to video editing.
