Good morning guys, I want to purchase a graphics card for my build.
A good friend of mine gifted me with a 400 dollar limit but I want to use it wisely and save him some cash.

So my limit is 400 or lower.
My wants are to play MMOs (i.e Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn / Guild Wars 2/ BattleField 4 to simple MMOs such as Gunz 2 / Vindictus and even future MMOs such as Blade and Soul ) around medium to max.
If my first custom desktop can run like this and smoothly I would be very grateful:
(Blade and Soul)

or smooth Battlefield 4 gameplay.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1200

Cards that I'm looking at:

PNY VCGGTX7702XPB-OC GeForce GTX 770 2GB OC (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)

EVGA 02G-P4-2770-KR GeForce GTX 770 2GB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)

(Why I choose this? I have no valid reason to back it up, I just saw numbers and how beautiful the card looks; thus I need help.)

I would prefer to buy the components at Newegg but anywhere else is also fine.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I'm currently studying aeronautic science with flight option. I'm new to building computers but I've did some leg work and found out that the higher the vram the more adapt the card can handle multi-screen? If that is true, I wouldn't mine getting recommendations to 4GB cards for my flight sim.

I've acquired all the parts necessary except for the GPU. Thanks for your assistance!
My mistake if I miss giving out other vital information for the recommendation.

To give a wise recommendation it would help to know the other hardware that you are going to use it with! Such as CPU motherboard and PSU.

With $400, your choices are GTX 770 and R9 280X. They perform very well in Battlefield 4, and very close to each other.

I suggest you look for more benchmarks and see which of these two cards wins more often in your favorite games.

Between PNY and eVGA, personally I'd pick eVGA due to good past experience with their products.

Make sure you get a good PSU. XFX recommends a 750W PSU for their R9 280x. eVGA recommends a 600W PSU for their GTX 770.

I see, my mistake. My mobo is the ASUS Maximus VI GENE DDR3 1600 Intel Z87 LGA 1150 Motherboard. As for the PSU, I have to decide on the GPU first. The mobo was also a gift so I'm shoehorned to get Haswell processor( possibly i5). I'm okay with that.

Then the answer from me will be get the EVGA since any I5 will handle those cards just fine.
