Hi, i have recently bought a prebuilt gaming tower, i'll list the specs below.

Case - NZXT Phantom 410 Gaming Case - White
Processor Intel Core i7 4820K
Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 - 3GB
Motherboard - MSI X79A-GD45 Plus-- 5x PCI-E x16, and 6x SATA 6Gb/s
Memory - 16GB DDR3 1866 Memory Module ADATA XPG V2
Power Supply - AZZA Dynamo 850W
Windows 7

Ok, so my problem is that during whenever i play graphically intensive games that heat up my graphics card, my computer shuts down or automatically restarts once the graphic card goes to 60-70 degrees Celsius. I heard that normal temperatures for intensive games should be around 60-80degrees no problem, yet mine will crash once hitting 60-70. A possibility though is that it could be that i have a faulty graphics card or maybe even power supply. Any help is much appreciated!

EDIT: Some of the games that i can run max settings is chivalry, league of legends, and planetside 2. The ones that i have noticed crashing in are Assassin's Creed BlackFlags, and Dayz both on max settings.

I second WaSquids,

That power supply is horrible. Especially when powering such a high end system. Power supplies are probably the second most important component in a system. First is the motherboard.

So it is important to get a high quality unit, especially for a power demanding rig such as yours. Something like a Seasonic/XFX preferably 80+ Gold should suffice.

Alright, i'll work on getting a new power supply and keep you guys updated! Do you think i should stick with the 850w just a different brand, or bump it up to a 1000w psu?

850W should be more than enough. Just make sure it is from a reputable brand and has a rating of at least 80+ Gold. 80+ Gold is a good indicator that the Power Supply can efficiently handle the 850W power load while remaining relatively cool. This is a good indicator of a high quality construction as less power is lost in the form of heat.
