Yes the Sapphire card is fine. The cooling may not be as quiet but it shouldn't be noisy.
The 280x is a very powerful card:D
Is this your first build?
If you post your other components i will have a look for you and make sure they are all okay if you want?

It's okay:)
That is a nice set up and will work well together.
I notice your buying an unlocked processor. If you want to overclock it you will need an aftermarket cooler.
The power supply unit is a little low for that graphics card.
I would recommend at least a 650 watt but i found a good deal on a 750 watt PSU.
It's a XFX PRO750W Core Edition 80+ Bronze PSU.
It is also manufactured by Seasonic as Seasonic supplies to lots of different companies like XFX or Antec.
It's £71.98
http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-PRO750W-Edition-Bronze-Cert...

Also if you are planning on playing Battlefield 4 i would recommend Windows 8.1 as it runs better on it using Directx 11.2 which Windows 7 does not support. Windows 8 takes a little getting used to but i wouldn't go back to Windows 7 after using it for 2 months.

As this is your first build i would recommend reading this thread in detail
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-1657114/step-step-...

Of course you don't have to take any of my recommendations it's your computer and your decision but whatever you choose good luck and happy gaming. Have a good new year too:D

P.S. if you have any further questions feel free to ask

Will it run DayZ?

Yes it will run DayZ. The fact you even asked that leads me to believe you will be very happy with the performance of your new computer and pleasantly surprised when you run DayZ for the first time:)

Don't forget to read that thread about building a computer. You might want to watch this video too

I have tried to help a couple of people on this forum in the last week who have made mistakes and messed up their first builds breaking their new components. If you learn properly you will be fine. I have built my own computers for 15 years and never had one not work on me.
