Hi. This is my first post here.

So I want to buy a new GPU to replace my "apparently broken" HIS Radeon HD 7850 2Gb but I'm not really sure which one to get.

Before telling you the options here are my PC specs:

- CPU: Intel Core i7 2700k
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB - 1600mHz
- Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V PRO GEN3 (LGA1155)
- Hard Drive: Hitachi 500GB 7200rpm
- PSU: Corsair TX650 80 Plus Bronze Certified
- Optical Drive: It's a LG DVD writer. HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS90 ATA Device (that's what I found on Speccy)

I want to use it for gaming and also for 3D AutoCAD and 3ds Max designing. I also do NetBeans.

Basically I would like to future proof my PC on next-gen games as I heard that BF4 is using more than 2GB of VRAM and it seems that upcoming titles will do the same.

I will play on 1080p. I don't see my self buying a 2nd display on the foreseeable future. But as I said before I want to buy a card that helps me remain strong for the next 3, 4 or maybe 5 years.

Well, my options are:

1. Buying a pair of NVidia GTX 760s and put them in SLI mode but I'm not sure whether my 650W PSU will provide me with enough power.

2. NVidia GTX 770 4GB

3. Nvidia GTX 780 3GB

4. AMD R9 290 4GB

I'm open to any suggestions though. Thanks in advance :)

Yeah, but the issue with my old card is that I'm not from USA. I'm from Colombia but I bought the card in USA via locker as the rest of my rig except for the hard drive and chassis. So if I want my old card to be repaired I would need to send it back to USA which is gonna be really expensive. I will better try to get it repaired here.

But even if the card gets back on it's feet (I don't really think it's possible since the fans are not even spinning) I would definitely like to upgrade it so that's why I'm asking for your recommendation :)
