I own a Acer AM3970G-UW10P coomputer. I would like to upgrade my graphics card to a Twin frozr gaming 2gb gtx 760 OC edition:http://us.msi.com/product/vga/N760-TF-2GD5-OC.html#over...

I know i need to upgrade my psu to run this and was wondering if this psu will run it and if it will fit in my case:

Thanks in advance, Tucker

I would defiantly get a new PSU. The one you have now is only 300watts. I'd get around a 500 true watt PSU. I only trust certain brands of power supplies as i would go with either Corsair or Seasonic. If i was in your situation i would order this one:

It's on sale right now and should fit your case. This one is more than enough for your system.

Personally I would not buy that psu. The 760 requires a 500w psu. Although the one you list says it's 500w, the 12v rail is only 36a which would indicate a true output in the area of 400w. When choosing a psu, do yourself a favor and purchase a high quality unit from XFX, Corsair (TX/HX series), Seasonic or Antec. You might also look at the new EVGA units - they are very well made also.

A 500 w/ 30 AMPs on the 12 volt is more than sufficient and leaves some headroom for your combo - take a look at the EVGA $50 before a $10 rebate
