I have a
Seagate Expansion 3TB USB 3.0 Black Desktop Hard Drive STBV3000100
and a MSI GT70 2OC-065US with a
1TB 7200RPM (SATA III - 6GB/s)
with usb 3.0 SS
I tried transferring 18GB of pics and it was transferring around 1 MB/s to 30MB/s
edit: transferring 5GB folder its between 30-60MB/s
i tried a larger single file and it was the same. Now im 99.9% sure that my friends external (same as mine) transferred a single anime episode of 400 MB in less than 2 sec. I ran the setup the was on the external to register and then i renamed it and tried transferring.
