Hi all, so I'm building a gaming-oriented PC and it will be my first time building a computer.
I've done some research on the parts and I just want a second opinion from someone who knows more about this than me (and maybe if someone could recommend better parts if needed).

Part list:

One question I have is will I be OK with the stock fan?

My budget remains around the price of the build I have linked, I would be willing to spend an extra 50 euro if necessary though.

EDIT: I know this is the 10 millionth of these threads, sorry.

Consider an SSD drive - you won't be sorry....it will give you a huge boost in performance....

I just purchased this one for my wife - she has a similar build - huge difference in boot speed and application launching...

That's a little over, would a 60gb SSD suffice?

You can get by with a smaller SSD - 120GB is about the pefect size for the operating system and a few programs you want to install (I have Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2007 Professional and Adobe Creative Suite all installed to the SSD with about 40GB left over. You might save a few bucks by getting the 60GB, but doubling the size to 120GB will be plenty for most everyone.

Honestly, the 10 seconds you save on boot times is still not in the realm of "cost effective". Not for my tastes anyway. Yes there is a noticeable difference, but before investing, you need to make sure you are getting what you pay for.

Ron, games are getting MASSIVE now. For 128gb SSD, thats windows 7 and 2-3 games tops now. that leaves you almost no room for anything. A 1tb drive witha large cache and fast spin time is more conducive to gaming for the time being.
