Motherboard will not detect any GPU's other than Intel Graphics

Solution
With the power off, make absolutely sure the PCIE power connectors are plugged in and properly seated. If that doesn't help you may have a bad card.
One more thing to check before calling that card dead. Be sure you have the modular PCIE cables in the correct slots on the PSU (not tryin' to be a smart ass, just trying to think of everything I would check if I was doing this on my rig)

What exactly do you mean by "your motherboard won't detect it"? A little more information is needed to help solve this. Is the card getting power? Are the fans spinning up? Is there signal going to the monitor?

Everything is going fine, the fans spin, enough power is given through the corsair ax760. It is just the software for the MSI z87-g45 isn't showing that any GPU is plugged into the pci slot (it is seated in place). Everything else is working the fans spin up on the gpu but i know that does not really mean much.

I had my GPU come loose before and then my PC loaded the intel graphics. I repositioned the graphics card and then i loaded. I assume Your PC won't detect the drivers either. Sorry if I can't be much help other than that.
