My PC display is really choppy.

I've been having problems with my PC crashing and being really choppy when I use 2 sticks of RAM.
It never crashes and works fine with one stick.
RAM is Gskill ripjaws x I have two sticks at 4GB a piece

When you run with one stick its okay or just the ram in general? And what are you doing when your pc crashes or is choppy are there typical tendencies.

I can run one stick at a time and it runs just fine. The screen will flicker at random times, and it usually crashes when I am trying to install things.
I don't have any of these problems when I only have one stick of RAM installed.

Are the timings matched up correctly? Do you have anything overclocked have you tried with it not overclocked if overclocked?
