Hi, I'm building an workstation for 3d, and in regards to cooling. I have an i7 4770k . If I'm not overclocking is a fan sufficient enough, or should i still get a liquid cooling. Im looking at the cooler master 212 evo thanks

Solution
The 212 EVO will be fine. Less hassle, less noise, not much temp difference.

I have a 212 PLUS on an i5-3570k. At 100% load, I have to take the side panel off and stick my head right next to it to hear anything.

That fan and heatsink are pretty good. You don't require liquid cooling.
I think you will be more than satisfied with its performance, although a liquid cooling setup would enable you to achieve a higher overclock if you ever chose to do so.
