Yes, the mic pickup is clear and the set is relatively lightweight (for its size) and I wear it in comfort for gaming sessions lasting many hours.

I don't have a G930 to compare it to, but i do have a PC350. Best piece of gear I've ever used, and recommend it highly.
When playing games, I almost always hear the other guy before he hears me.

I own the G930. I bought it for work because of construction on the floor above my office. I really enjoy them. I'm pretty picky when it comes to comfort and they are comfortable. My only complaint was the crackling sound I experienced at first. After some reading and testing, I figured out that the G930 doesn't fair will with USB 3.0. You can search and find that other people have experienced the same issue. Once I plugged the wireless transmitter in a USB 2.0 slot, the crackling went away.
