I recently received a second MSI R9 270x 2G and installed it, connected the crossfire bridge, then enabled it in the CCC. No issues with any of that. Then I noticed AMD overdrive wasnt recognizing a second card, so i completely deleted, then re-installed the latest AMD drivers. So i got on BF4 to play and see the difference, the FPS was actually a little worse than before, and the MSI afterburner software is detecting the second card, but the 1st GPU will be at 90% load while GPU2 is at 5-10%. The GPU works fine on its own. Any ideas as to what could be happening?

AMD FX 8320 4ghz w/Corsair H55
MSI 990fxa-GD80V2
8GB Corsair XMS3 1333mhz RAM
128gb PNY Solid State
MSI R9 270x 2G x2
Corsair 540 Air Case
Thermaltake Smart 750w Power Supply

Reinstall all the drivers, then use Sapphire Trixx, MSI Afterburner or Asus Tweak to overclock it if you want, overdrive is the worst you can use for software overclocking a GPU.

I use afterburner to overclock my cards. I actually just got the second card to kick in on BF4 but it has to be in full screen, it completely turns off if i do borderless, which is really irritating, any way to fix that?

Crossfire only works if you use fullscreen otherwise it only uses one card.

Lame. Sucks for people with 2 or more monitors, but thank you for the help!
