Hello,
I recently ordered an EVGA Geforce gtx 660 superclocked graphics card to replace my amd radeon 7570. Here is my current plan on w im going to install the card:
1. Remove old card
2. Install new card
3. Download latest drivers from nvidia on top of current and drivers.

I know this plan is a little risky but I cannot figure out how to uninstall the amd/ati drivers on windows 8. I know there are driver cleaners that do this but are any of them secure?

Methods I have already tried:
-Looked in C drive for amd folder, couldn't find it
- Looked in that something manager from control panel, was concerned about which to uninstall etc.
-Tried to uninstall w catalyst control center but couldn't figure out how

Is it ok just to install drivers without uninstalling the others? Please help.

you can use driver sweeper to clean install your amd driver..=> http://www.guru3d.com/content_page/guru3d_driver_sweepe...

and then you can install your nvidia driver safely..

Is it ok just to install drivers without uninstalling the others? => well, actually it's ok..i have a computer as my testbed machine, and i was install both driver (amd & nvidia), and it's run flawlessly without any single issue..
