Dell 660 New GPU in new case?

Solution
As in some Dell mobo's are not to standard size (i.e. ATX/ITX), they have a different arrangement on the mounting holes and sometimes their front panel connector (i.e. power/reset/HDD activity light/CPU activity light etc.) are also different than the standard connectors found in retail cases. However if this is your mother board: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/p/19484892/20270480.aspx you should not have a problem. Just be aware that you gpu may obscure and/or interfere with the front panel connectors.

What do you mean "(i.e. non-standard size and/or non-standard PSU and front panel plugs)"

Why you are moving to new case, is it for fun or necessity?

In any way, Dell micro MOBO is standard, all screw locations and back I&O panel is standard as well.

But, do not throw away your old case, as you might have to use Dell wiring for on/off switch and/or front USB panel, long story to explain now, I will if necessary.

Anything else I can help you with?

I'm not getting the front panel On and off switch . What do you mean by that?

I meant that there is a possibility that you will have problems with booting in new case, most likely noting bad, but very annoying.
This usually fixed with wiring from the original Inspiron 660 case.

However if you are willing to look for shorter video card, you don't have to change case, so?

Anything else I can help you with?

I hope you already have new power supply, since original would not support upgrades like yours.

I am having trouble with the front panel connectors (H.D.D Led, Reset SW, Power SW)

The pins of a connector usually look like this "O" = no pin "P" = Pin

PPPPPP ------- <Normal------- PPPPPP
PPPPPO ------- Mine>---------- POPPPP

Any suguestion on how to go forward on this , and yes that connector is the right one
