Which would be a better upgrade? I currently have a dell SE198WFP http://www.dell.com/ed/business/p/dell-se198wfp/pd

That dell monitor was bought 4 years ago and is very old. So i want to switch to a new monitor but i want one that can fit my computer desk frame while having a good performance.

So i looked on newegg for some monitor and i found these 2

+1 to this question :D

I'm also torn between these exact same monitors. There doesn't seem to be much difference (.4 inches) and the VSS247H-P has slightly better contrast.

D'oh! I did mean brightness, thanks K1114.

That's the problem. I can't decide either. If it makes a difference I'm leaning towards the VS248H-P but I'm not going to commit until I get some input from others here (hopefully) and the guy and gal I deal with at the local shop (tomorrow possibly).
