Today I bought 16gb x 2 sticks of pny memory today. I installed it and started up my computer and there is no display on my monitor. I thought my memory was dead but, when I put only one stick of memory in my computers boots up fine. I am very confused and have no idea why this is happening, my motherboard is a ms-7778.

Do you mean- you put 1st stick of memory and it boots, but it would not boot with 2 sticks and it would not boot with 2nd single stick? Or do you mean- each (both) stick/s works one at a time but not together? What memory? What do you see in BIOS? Try to enable XMP profile. Check the placement- it should be A2B2, not A1B1 (check your manual).

Hmmm, after undoing a2/b2 placement because it didn't work and leaving one stick of memory in I was greeted with every error possible and a bsod. Will replace it with other memory stick to configure xmp profile and try to figure it out. And also to answer your earlier question, it only boots up with one stick in it at a time.
