144hz Monitor is it worth it?

So I am going to upgrade my computer after all my parts get in this is going to be the final build :http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2qFD1. Would it be worth getting a 144hz monitor, as I am a fairly hardcore gamer playing counterstrike and league of legends most of the time and play alot of other games as well, would it be a significant improvement over my two 1080p 23in monitors 5ms right now, and more importantly with my build could I even get games up to 144 fps?

Do you live in the united states? You can find 240GB SSDs a lot cheaper than that intel that are of as good quality. Also, why pay that much for a 7950 when you could get a 280x for a similar price? Your eyes won't really be able to tell the difference between 60 fps and 144fps, the biggest thing is quality of the display, not the raw numbers.

let me clarify a bit, I know for a fact that the human eye has no limit on the ammount of frames it can see ( more frames= clearer picture) and that on the 144hz monitor the response time is 1ms(which helps for shooters) I am wonder is that worth the price and could my computer even get games up to 144 fps?
