Hello. i have a gigabyte z68xp-ud4 and it doesnt work with 780 ti (wont boot) i thought maybe my bios is out of date but i dont know which one to use? on the website they have one called F6 and one called U1L which one will work?

Solution
#1 : NVidia driver. You DO need a fairly recent version to run with a 780Ti.... Go download and install the most recent WHQL version: (once you go back to your GTX580's re-load the drivers Again....)
http://www.geforce.com/drivers

#2 : I've read a ton more post on "issues with GTX 780 & 780Ti's not booting or going to a "B2" error screen...."
- one of the fixes IS to update the motherboard BIOS.... (hey, I learn something New everyday....)

SO, Flash to F6 and post back .....

Then, Flash to U1L and see if things are still working with the GTX 780..... (no worries there, you can always just flash back to F6 Again if you run into trouble...)

well the f6 was released in 02/20/2012 and the U1L was released 03/06/2013 the U1L is BETA so beaware of that. Use either the ones with f I guess are legacy (older versions) they are switching to UEFI bios would be my guess

It will work just read and follow the directions it said to disable certain things if you have them

Hmm, let's hold up I don't believe motherboard BIOS has ANY connection to which GPU can be used. The CPU, yes, but not GPU.....

More likely suspect is the NVidia driver. You DO need a fairly recent version to run with a 780Ti.... Go download and install the most recent WHQL version:

Is the 780Ti and upgrade? Basically, was the system up and running fine Before? If so, what power supply do you have?
(you'll need a good solid 650watt supply to run or even boot with that monster card...)
