Measuring Ram Speeds

So I was using CPU-Z to check my OC as I lost it in a bios reset (Now back to 4.1GHz on cpu), and I was clicking though the tabs when I noticed my ram speeds.
This is the ram I have : Corsair CMX 8 gb at 1333MHz http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1874822&CatId=4534
(Single channel, dual later)
And my CPU-z says its running at NB frequency 2157MHz. I havent touched any ram setting in bios or anywhere. Why is the reading so off?

Solution
Is that under:
CPU-Z-> Memory-> Timings

It can't be that high though as it's HALF the rated so it should be showing 667MHz here.

When you overclock your CPU you can end up overclocking the DDR3 memory as well.

So, go back into the BIOS and click to put the DEFAULT timings back then re-check. You should also run MEMTEST www.memtest.org

Solution
Well I reset my PC and ran Memtest and its now saying 577.9 on both it and CPU-Z, so it was reading way off I guess. But as I wrote that I looked over to see my speeds jump to 4156678MHz then back down, then up again, and so on every few seconds.
Now Im no computer engineer (yet) But I am putting my bets on CPU-Z is giving false readings.
But even so isnt 577 a bit low?
