So I have a EVGA 600B PSU (600W + Bronze)

The PSU came with 2x6/8 PCI-E connector. I have a GTX 560 ti 448 (requiring 1x8 pin and 1x6 pin) and GTS 450 (requiring 1x6).

I lack 1x6 pin connector but i have a converter. Is it safe to use it, I have heard that it is not good but dont have experience with it.

I've never had a problem using those converters in the past, nor have I ever heard of anyone I know having problems with them.
As long as the connectors feel tight and snug when you plug them in, you shouldn't have any problems at all.
