Yes it is above the maximum safe temperature stated by AMD which is 70 C ..!

Are you overclocking? Do you have stock cooler? If you are not using a stock cooler are you using a good cooler so that it cools good?

If you are using stock cooler I suggest you to change it to Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO... ASAP..!

Try to avoid gaming until you get a good cooler..

Hey!

I also have the AMD FX 6300

Is it overclocked? What games do you play and on what settings? Do you have an aftermarket or stock cooler? How much thermal paste did you apply and how? Is the cooler applied correctly? Please answer these questions. :)

I use an aftermarket COOLMASTER HYPER 212 EVO. At idle, my temps are around 26C. 30C MAX. At full load , prob around 40C MAX.

Considering this, yup. The temps you are getting are dangerous. But don't worry, we can fix this! :D

Make sure your case also have proper air flow. Good case fan setup can really do wonders. I agree with getting an aftermarket heatsink if your stock is doing that bad. Also I recommend lowering game settings to maybe medium.
