just finshed build - turns on and off repeatedly, getting single beep

i just finished building my pc, and now when u go to start it, it will stay on for a few seconds, then turn off, then turn on again by itself repeatedly. i get a single beep before it turns off. this is my first build so i dont really know what to do. any help would be appreciated. thanks

IDK Im sorry same thing happened to me after I dropped my computer like a few inches and then I tightened the connections and changed some things in the boot order so I could boot off usb and it worked fine. I k ow its not much help just wanted to let you know your not the only one who has had this problem

I just finished building mine today and same thing happened to me. I just replugged in the motherboard and cpu power and it worked good. I dont know if it was just a quencedense or not but thats what I did
