Hi guys!! Recently I installed my galaxy gtx 650 ti boost into my system. Well, after the install (including the latest drivers), i restarted the computer. I booted back up, and I played a game. Wellllll, it seems as if something is wrong.
First off, here is my specs:

60hz Monitor (ViewSonic)
Amd Phenom X4 965 Quad oc'ed at 3.5 ghz
Gtx 650 Ti boost 2gb ddr5
8 gb of DDR3 @ 1033
2x 500gb hdd's @ 7200rpm
As-Rock mini atx board (looked it up, it shouldn't be a problem at all)
480 Watt Psu (Arctic)

I do realize i should probably update the psu, BUT then again, it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Anyway, let's get to the fps;
(All are ran at 1920x1080 resolution)

Max Payne 3 (maxed out, aa and everything, vsync on) 45-60+ fps consistently
Skyrim WITH graphics mods (highest settings, 4x aa, vysnc on) 33-60+ consistently
Far Cry 3 (high settings, 2x aa, vysnc on) 40+ fps consistently

Those ^^^ no problem at all.
However, battlefield 3, and euro truck sim 2, I can't even run at medium settings without dropping below 25 fps every 5 seconds.

I've tried disabling vsync, aa of course, lowering all settings, but they still aren't running properly. I've seen all over the web with gt420's doing better on euro truck sim 2! In fact, the recommended settings with my card for the game, are at ULTRA!!
Obviously it has something to do with the game, but I did notice my gpu isn't being used but about 60% when playing both of these games, and 99% when playing the others listed. MY cpu never goes above 60%, so I know it's not an issue.

My temps are great. My case is open, and I have a house fan (from a distance) blowing towards it.

I've tried looking up solutions, but have came across nothing that worked.

Please, feel free to ask for anything that I forgot to provide, and any help would be wonderful! Thanks, Logan

Solution
Make sure your OS and Bios are up to date. Make sure there are not patches/updates for the specific games you are having issues with.

Thanks for the answer! I just thought about it, and euro truck sim hasn't been updated in... yea I don't think it has been lol. I'm dling that now, the problem for it should be solved.
But I know my OS is up to date. I have win7 home premium, and i check for updates daily.

Does anyone know what I should be capable of running Battlefield 3 on multiplayer? I've seen on YouTube, most people max their's out with my card, but sometimes they OC it wayyyy too much just to get good footage. I have decent ping with the servers I play on (70-100). It's FPS, not lag spikes...

Again, thanks for the help!! I appreciate it :)
