Audio stopped working on motherboard after new processer install

reinstalled drivers
even reinstalled windows
realtek hd picks up when i plug speakers in but no audio comes out

tried everything now hoping someone can help me
specs

i7 3770k
msi z77a-g41
4gigs ddr3 ram
gtx 460 LE

Try installing the drivers again. Make sure you've plugged it into the ports correctly.
Off topic- Don't you think the RAM and GPU are very bad compare to the processor? Just my opinion...

Ram and gpu were already owned I was on a budget haha I got the i7 on sale for $222 so I kinda lucked out

sorry for the late reply it was def a bad board replace if you can i replaced mine with a different one and its like a different computer lol
