House lights turning off when plugging the computer HELP

Im playing Fallout NV awhile ago when suddenly our House lights even the outlets cut power.
Not actually no electricity but the lights it flickers (Slowly not fast flicker) and when I pull the power plug of the pc it goes back to normal. And when I put it back (turning on the AVR) it flickers again. It will work when I turn the switch on the back of the psu off/on a few times. It happened about 2 times this month.

Why is it happening?

Is my pc in danger?
It's working fine now again though..

  1. What PSU are you using?
  2. Maybe a shortage issue.
Is the powercable of the psu put in a grounded socket?
Check whether the cable is put wel in the psu itself too.

Your link goes to a general site?

This didn't happen on my first computer, My cousin gave me this computer and upgraded it a lil bit.
So I think the socket is not a problem. ( im plugging it on the same outlet)

THROW THAT PSU OUT THE WINDOW AND NEVER TOUCH IT AGAIN!!! No seriously, that PSU is dangerous. 500W for $11 is asking for trouble!

Get a new PSU from a reliable brand (Corsair, Antec, SeaSonic, XFX Etc..)
