I'm curious if my current rig is performance limited or if my chosen hardware is conflicting. I ask because i encounter quite a few BSoD for memory management and for other issues.
My current setup is (Intel CPU + AMD GPUs, conflict?)
Mobo: EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI (x16/x16/x8) LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
- Supports Xfire, not advertised
CPU: i7-920 Bloomfield (no OC)
GPUs: 2x Xfired 7950s (no OC)
- sat in top 2 PCI slots, would prefer to sit at 3rd but would the 8x slot hinder Xfire performance?
RAM: OCZ 2GBx6..(12GBs, forgot specs atm, recommendations on whats ideal for my system?)
800W pwr supply
