I have a CIT Vantage Warlord (Blue LED) case, and a Cooler Master Hyper T4 CPU cooler.

As it stands, the cooler is too high to fit the case onto the side - specifically, it collides with one of the fans mounted on the inside side of the case.
I could buy a new cooler that's smaller so would fit, or I could remove the offending fan.
Would removing the fan cause problems with airflow? I'm not sure how many fans there are total, and which direction they rotate, so I'm hoping someone else knows and can help?

If it does need removing, could it could be put somewhere else? I've thought about putting the fans on the outside and trying to attach the mesh over them there - it would create a bulge at the side of the case, but would keep both fans working and protected from dust.

I know this is quite a strange question, and rater a niche one too, but I hope someone has had a similar problem in the past.

Thanks,
hnefatl

Just take the fan that's in the way out, you'll have plenty of cooling with three fans. It's just the price you have to pay for the cpu cooler.
If there's another fan port you could put it there, but from what i've seen the case doesn't have it.I wouldn't put it on the outside.
